We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Expert to join our technical team. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in Shopify Plus development, custom Shopify app creation, front-end engineering, and integrating third-party systems. You will work on diverse, high-impact eCommerce projects while contributing to innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify & Shopify Plus Development:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, Shopify Scripts, JavaScript, and related technologies.


• Customize themes, templates, and UI components aligned with client requirements and brand standards.


• Develop private and public Shopify apps, including backend logic, API integrations, and scalable architecture.


• Customize Shopify Plus checkout, including scripts, Flow automation, and advanced configuration.


• Implement and configure metafields, dynamic content, custom product logic, and advanced store features.


• Optimize storefront performance for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.


• Troubleshoot and resolve theme conflicts, integration issues, and app-related bugs.

Integrations & Third-Party Systems:

• Integrate external platforms such as CRM, fulfillment systems, payment gateways, and marketing tools via Shopify API, Klaviyo or custom middleware.


• Implement and maintain API-based data sync processes across various platforms.

Maintenance & Ongoing Support:

• Provide continuous technical support, enhancements, and updates for live Shopify stores.


• Conduct routine site audits to identify performance gaps, UX improvements, and code optimizations.


• Ensure consistent uptime, security best practices, and smooth operational performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience:

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development (Shopify Plus experience strongly preferred).


• Proven experience building custom Shopify apps (Node.js / PHP / Laravel considered a plus).


• Demonstrated success working on end-to-end eCommerce development projects.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced expertise with Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JSON.


• Strong knowledge of Shopify APIs, Storefront API, Admin API, GraphQL, and webhooks.


• Experience with Shopify CLI, version control (Git), and modern front-end frameworks.


• Ability to integrate and customize third-party apps and services.


• Experience with checkout customization, Scripts, Flow, metafields, dynamic sources, and automation workflows.


• Strong understanding of web performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.


• Knowledge of Shopify SEO best practices, Google Tag Manager, and analytics tracking is a plus.
