We are seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the construction of commercial and residential buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in structural execution, site management, and the estimation of resources, materials, labor, and timelines. This role will be responsible for ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities on commercial and residential building sites.
• Prepare and review detailed BOQs (Bills of Quantities), cost estimates, and material take-offs.
• Assist in preparing project budgets, schedules, and work plans.
• Ensure all construction work complies with relevant codes, standards, and design specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to coordinate project execution.
• Monitor site safety, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
• Track resource utilization (materials, manpower, equipment) and optimize usage.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily progress reports, inspection logs, and material requisitions.
• Provide technical guidance and support during all phases of construction.
• Participate in tendering, vendor evaluation, and procurement processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction of residential and/or commercial buildings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, MS Excel, and estimation software.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local regulations.
• Hands-on experience in resource estimation, quantity surveying, and budget management.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with green building practices or sustainable construction is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Certification in quantity surveying or construction management is an advantage.
