Job Description:

A Technical Sales Engineer & Support job is available in Karachi for a leading Manufacturing Company. An ideal candidate must be B.E in Electronics/Electrical engineering from any accredited university, along with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, technical sales, and customer support.

The Technical Sales Engineer & Support job role is to provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, engage with clients to understand their automation and electrical needs, propose customized solutions, and drive business growth through effective technical sales strategies and customer relationship management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our automation products and solutions, including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other industrial automation technologies.
  • Understanding of power quality products like PFI banks, reactors, filters, and SVGs will be a plus.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and engage with potential customers to understand their needs and provide technical guidance and support throughout the sales process.
  • Regular visits to clients to build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for all their industrial needs.
  • Work closely with customers to develop customized solutions that address their specific requirements and deliver maximum value.
  • Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions to prospective clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and technical support to customers, sales team members, and other stakeholders as needed to ensure successful implementation and utilization of our solutions.
  • Work closely with the supervisor for business sales development and strategies.
  • Support the Marketing team for the preparation of marketing / promoting material of the assigned products/brand.
  • Engagement consultants for approvals and enlistment of Autonics and Nancal products in their approved manufacturer's list.
  • Maintain Projects database and follow-ups with clients for ongoing projects.

Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge in industrial automation and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand customer pain points and offer effective solutions.
  • Experience in preparing technical documentation and solution proposals.
