The Role:

The candidate will work together with a team in UK, Serbia and India. The role is varied and demanding. There will be dealings with all levels of staff, therefore excellent English communication skills are essential. Whilst the primary responsibilities will be to perform a variety of accounting/financial and administration tasks, the candidate must be able to cover all of the duties of the equivalent post dealing with other companies’ accounts.

The role will involve the full range of bookkeeping up to Trial.

He/she will report directly to the Financial Controller.

This is a very hands-on role in a challenging and competitive environment. The role requires lots of energy, enthusiasm and a "can do" attitude.

The Responsibilities:

• Manage the purchase ledger from coding to payment negotiations to supplier statement reconciliation

• Check process and reconciliation of credit card bills on daily basis

• Check process and reconciliation of monthly staff expense claims

• Check process and reconciliation of other monthly offices expenses

• Journal postings for all adjustments

• Daily bank reconciliations for local and multi-currency

• Monthly petty cash reconciliation

• Assist with management accounts process

• Assist with VAT

• Daily sales invoicing

• Credit control and debtors ledger reconciliation

• Reconciliations of all nominal ledgers

• Daily payments to suppliers and communication with them

• Maintaining spread sheets

• Administrative tasks and ad hoc finance duties, as required

Some experience in Wholesale Tour Operator based business would be useful, but not essential.
