| The ideal candidate should:
- Hold a Bachelors of Telecom/Electrical/Computer Engineering
- Have 4-6 years of relevant experience
- Be specialized in the area of Radio and BSS Coverage Planning/Optimization
Job Description
- Responsible for the Planning of coverage on new locations as per marketing/sales
- Coverage planning for new location using Planning Tool Asset, Rollout (coverage, capacity and IBS)
- Create of Radio Technical Document in view of desired coverage objectives , EiRP, HBA, Azimuth ,Tilts
- Enhanced existing coverage by introduction of new features ,trails like Air combining ,enabling coverage-mode design
- Physical redesigns for coverage and quality improvement
- JVs with rollout departments to identify suitable candidate for site (Coverage + Capacity)
- Candidate Evaluation with all stake holders and updating after JV
- Manage Roof clearance calculations, Civil Aviation Authority Funnel Zone Calculation
- Conduct Site Audit of new sites
- Generate Daily stats monitoring of new site check for hardware issues until the site is handed to optimization.
- Responsible for Design of site on building analysis and Drive test of newly commissioned site
- Walk test of newly commissioned micro site and antenna extension of old IBS
- Parameter optimization of site in order to nullify spillage of indoor site to outdoors for uniform serving of site inside the building
- Manage reporting of Hardware issues on new sites and resolve major KPIs degradation on new sites
- IBS Planning and deployment as per plan
- Drawing the RF schematic in MS Visio
- Support and coordinate Sales Tech JVs with Marketing/Sales rep. to identify coverage locations
- Site Audit of new sites
- Walk test to analyze Rx level on each floor by the help of TEMS and mark the signal levels on
- Neighbor plan addition/deletion for new sites
- Reparenting, migration activities management
- LAC pps monitoring and take appropriate actions accordingly
- Essential Skills
- Working experience in asset, Drive testing and Planning tools
- Desirable Skills
- RF planning , GPRS, EDGE, BSC dimensioning and drive testing with Nemo
