Qatar Charity (QC) is a Doha based International non-government organization, established in the state of Qatar 30 years back to sustain the needy communities in and out of Qatar. Qatar charity is working in Pakistan since 1992 having its country office in Islamabad and field offices in KPK, Punjab, Sindh and Baluchistan.In Pakistan, Qatar Charity is mainly working in the following thematic areas; Youth Leadership & Social Protection, Disaster Management, Economic Empowerment & Sustainable Livelihoods, Water and Sanitation, Education & Cultural Support, Social Protection, Primary Health Care and Community Physical Infrastructure.
Purpose of the Position:
The Warehouse Assistant is based in any district of Punjab where emergency is declared by the provincial and/or national government of Pakistan. This position is expected to assume overall project responsibility of Warehousing. The position is required to ensure that all the project activities of Warehousing are according to the policy and procedures are as laid down in the Qatar Charity’s policy manual. The efforts will be made to achieve the desired project objectives.
Major Tasks:
- Contribute to the detailing of the specific activities of the warehousing in the emergency Project Implementation Plan (PIP).
- Detail the supply and material need for the warehouse according to the results of the Rapid Need Assessment conducted by the field team.
- Documenting of all the incoming supplies and materials at the warehouse after quality checks.
- Quantity count shall be checked against the Goods Receiving Note. Appropriate Bin Card system is installed at the warehouse.
- Lead the installation and uninstallation of the Rubb Hall as and when required.
- Prepare stock movement report daily. Prepare stock reports weekly.
- Timely inform the Line Manager for replenishing of the supplies and materials in the warehouse to continue the project activities.
- Conduct all the warehousing procedures to comply with the Qatar Charity’s approved policies.
- To ensure the self-safety and security by observing the security protocols of the country office and the donor.
