Full Job Description

• Must scrub all claims in que for submission within different systems
• Able to Learn and be comfortable with changes
• Follow up with any outstanding claims
• Must be able to identify and submit denials in a timely fashion based on payers timely filling of claims
• Must be able to work aging reports and resolve accounts accordingly to maintain a clean aging
• Must be able to read all EOB’s denials and request for further claim follow up
• Should be able to contact insurance companies for claims resolution as required.
• Should have knowledge of payment posting and adjustments as needed.
• Able to identify and find resolutions for denials including meeting all payer guidelines on reconsideration, level of appeals and process.  Should be able to escalate any payer issue identified.
• Sound knowledge of Medical Billing for offshore doctors.
• knowledge of CPT CODING, Modifiers, and ICD-10
• Used electronic charge capture practices such as billing and account receivables (BAR) system and medical billing clearinghouse accounts to submit codes and invoices on time.
• Should be a Team Player with their team members
• Follow up on past invoices and delinquent accounts to reduce the number of unpaid and outstanding balances.
• Should have relevant experience of at least 2 years.
