Purpose of the job/Principal Function(s):
Accounts Officer is responsible of overseeing and managing financial records.
An accounting department provides accounting services and financial support to the organization it belongs to.
The department records accounts payable and receivable, inventory, payroll, fixed assets and all other financial elements.
The department's accountants review the records of each department to determine the company's financial position and any changes required to run the organization cost-effectively.
Duties & Responsibilities
1. Enter all types of Journal Vouchers (JV) in Accounting software.
2. Enter all types of Journal Purchase Vouchers (GPV) in Accounting software.
3. Enter Cash Payment Vouchers (CPV) in Accounting software.
4. Checking Sales Tax Register for Purchase (Annex-A of sales tax returns), and reconcile with accounting software to ensure all purchases recorded in relevant period.
5. Maintain month wise province wise record of sales Tax returns in PDF and in Excel file for reconciliation.
6. Get sales tax invoices of suppliers and place in sales tax return file before 15th of every succeeding month.
7. Enter all recurring nature expense vouchers in accounting software on monthly basis.
8. Send Income Tax and Sales Tax withholding challans to parties on monthly basis.
9. Reconcile Suppliers ledgers on monthly basis and report differences to the Management.
10. Prepare detail of warehouse wise staff deputed and charge expense to relevant cost center.
11. Coordinate with operation staff for timely collection of bills.
12. Prepare & update list of record of Accounts department.
13. Any Other task assigned by management.

Education: MBA Finance, M.Com, B.Com
Experience: 2- 3 years

- Accounts Officer need be almost instinctively, one step ahead of the game.
- Develop the good relationships with a number of key personnel.
- Stakeholders and the account manager’s team should all trust in the account manager and their ability to make the right decisions.
- Dealing with multiple projects, accounts, stakeholders and unforeseen issues is to be expected in an account manager’s daily workload
- Individual is sensitive to industry shifts and business trends with strong accounting concepts.
