247 Cars is looking for an experienced Tender & Bidding Manager for one of it's UK based client.

• The applicant is expected to be capable of understanding the requirements of a purchasing organization while creating a team to deliver in timely manner according to the organizations need.
• Tender & Bid Writing Manager must possess excellent organizational/ communication/negotiation skills, capabilities of team leading skills and understand business needs.

Responsibility:

• Prepare tenders and standardized tender documentation, proposal and obtain the required approvals.
• Develops the bid and tender strategy with timeline consideration.
• Independently review inquiry documents/specifications and prepares quality technical and commercial quotations on time for Company’s products using current tendering tools & procedures independently and simultaneously develop new strategies according to the need of company.
• Maintains a list of qualified vendors, especially as related to planned tenders.
• Contribution in cost and price calculations.
• Liaises with the end user on an ongoing basis with respect to Tender requirements and Tender status.
• Assists in preparation and/or review of Tender Documentation Packages comprising of Instructions to Bidders, Contract Form, General Terms Conditions, Bid Forms, etc.
• Assemble and maintain internal Procurement documentation relating to the tendering process, including recording management approval relating to tendering and contracting actions.
• Maintains tender files and arranges their archiving upon Tender completion.
• Prepares Tenders status reports and expected timelines on a regular basis and when requested.
• Prepares correspondences to internal departments, bidders, and contractors.
• Assists with the development of procurement software applications for the Project Implementation Team.
• Follow through successful acquisitions to completion.

Skills;

• Experience in Tender Processes - RFI’s, RFQ’s and RFP’s.
• Experience in preparing proposals in coordination with vendors.
• Procurement Contracting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of local business practices and legal processes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Required Qualification/skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in a computer science.
•  5 year’s work experience in outsourcing industry.
•  Previous experience in similar role.
