| Job Description: |
Manage the Import processes in a cost-effective way according to defined timelines.
- Generate all inquiries regarding procurement of raw materials and maintain inventory at optimal level.
- Effective Forecasting and planning to meet the demand of raw materials.
- Co-ordinate with banks and legal bodies regarding LCs, bank contract, NOCs & all other documents related to imports.
- Maintain a high degree of professional and ethical relationships with internal departments and external suppliers.
- Manage the flow of all inbound shipments of raw materials.
- Oversee sourcing process to identify and qualify new vendors.
- Negotiate with suppliers for price reductions in accordance with cost reduction initiatives
- Must be well versed with all custom formalities to clear the shipment in agreed time lines.
