About the Role


The Sr. Recruiter will drive the firm’s outbound talent acquisition efforts, partnering closely with local universities, colleges, community organizations, and other institutions.


In this role, the Sr. Recruiter will pioneer our campus engagement strategies, identify key personnel at the institutions, and leverage new relationships to routinely disseminate job advertisements for our portfolio startups via email and flyers.


Successful candidates will be autonomous operators with strong communication skills and keen initiative to execute on and further develop our recruitment and onboarding playbook. This role will also span across a range of initiatives within and outside of recruitment including conducting Zoom and in-person interviews, cold-calling select organizations for partnership opportunities, and creating digital ads promoting our investment firm and/or our portfolio companies.


This position is expected to require no more than 16 hours of work per month. This is a 6 to 9 month contract role, with above-market pay. Female applicants are preferred.


Responsibilities



  • Establish partnerships with various institutions with ability to influence

  • Form relationships with key personnel whilst communicating benefits of partnership

  • Create email campaigns for job requisitions and report on engagement levels

  • Conduct online and in-person meetings; ability to identify talent

  • Publish and manage job ads on local job sites


Requirements



  • Ability to go from one location to another within the city and surrounding cities to fulfill appointments (access to a vehicle is preferred)

  • Knowledgeable in or comfortable learning to use Google Sheets for task coordination, Zoom and Google Meet for online meetings, WhatsApp and email for general communication, Mailchimp or other email marketing tool for sending mass emails, and Facebook and local job sites for recruiting

  • Knowledgeable with social media platforms

  • Lead end-to-end talent acquisition in partnership with hiring managers at portfolio companies

  • Ensure a professional interview process for candidates with active feedback collection

  • Bilingual in English and Urdu.
