Job Qualification:
- B.Sc./M.Sc. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Keen to work in open source community
- Quick learning skills
- Knowledge of operating system and computer architecture
- Linux kernel building and booting knowledge is preferred
- Building open source package is preferred
Job Description:
Candidate will be working:
- in agile model
- on Mentor Embedded Linux Flex OS
- in (open source) Yocto Project
The main responsibilities include:
- Integrating Linux BSPs
- Creating recipes for building open source packages to bring in file system for a BSP
- Configuring the packages in different ways
- Verifying the final BSP and providing its support and maintenance
- Reviewing the documentation that will be released with the MEL BSP
