| Job Description: |
- Experienced in Virtualization platforms like KVM
- Equipped with hands-on with different Linux flavors
- Able to debug and fix issues on various flavors of Linux
- Worked with large data centers and the ability to plan infrastructure designs.
- Capable of handling pressure and stay calm in times of crisis.
- Good communication skills.
- Equipped with hands-on storage platforms.
- Experienced in corporate-level networking knowledge.
- Hands-On experience in Clustering suites like a pacemaker.
- Experienced with Various NMS solutions.
- Knowledge of different Log analysis tools and applications e,g Elastic search, SPLUNK.
- Able to understand the basics of security and hands-on security hardening rules for Linux based operating systems.
- Good understanding of software and hardware techniques for x86 virtualization
- Passionate about coding and problem solving, curious to learn new things, and embrace new ideas. You can learn quickly and effectively apply new knowledge, demonstrating a desire to stay in touch with emerging technologies
- Produce quality work and finish your tasks every single day. You are a self-starter who loves to find creative solutions to challenging problems
- Should be able to plan projects and tasks and take the lead on them.
- Able to meet the deadlines.
- He should be able to troubleshoot hardware, network issues in the Datacenter.
- He should have an idea to plan the installation of new gear in terms of calculating power & network requirements and rack space availability.
- Having knowledge of enterprise storage administration would be plus, i.e Snapvault, DFM, ONTAP, auditing, etc.
- Coordination with Datacenter Support Team, Datacenter Power, Cooling, environment control monitoring and reports Datacenter Planning, Power, Racks or new gear requirements, Worked with large data centers and the ability to plan infrastructure designs.
- Documentation related to infrastructure, VM inventory, host inventory, Rack Diagram
- 24x7 active support on call and fix the datacenter/Infrastructure issues reported by support team during Off Hours
- Experience with Nutanix HCI will be a big plus
