| Job Description: |
- Providing advice and guidance on safe and effective exercise and the correct use of the equipment and offering demonstrations where appropriate.
- Teaching exercises and other fitness lessons as appropriate.
- Ensuring that the gym area is open/closed at the required times.
- Ensuring that the fitness areas are kept in a tidy condition ensuring the routine cleaning of exercise machines and equipment and that equipment is returned to its correct location.
- Conducting routine inspection of machines and exercise areas to ensure that they are safe to use, personally taking immediate corrective action as appropriate or reporting the matter as required.
- Recording any damage to equipment, furniture, fittings and reporting the matter.
- Ensuring the completion of gym records e.g. shift attendance, safety inspection, machine maintenance.
